Introduction
The YEJ2 series three-phase electromagnetic brake motor is specially designed for special requirements and complies with JB/T6428-92 and IEC standards. It is a fully enclosed, fan-cooled motor with a DC electromagnetic brake disc. The YEJ2 series electromagnetic brake asynchronous motor can still achieve rapid braking even if the power is lost.
Working principle
When the motor is powered on, the electromagnetic brake obtains 99V or 170V DC power through the 220V or 380V AC rectifier. The armature is attracted by the magnet, pushing the brake disc to rotate, and the motor rotates freely. When the motor is powered off, the electromagnet loses power, and the armature is controlled by the spring, pushing the brake disc to contact the end cover, causing the motor to stop. The brake disc is installed in the non-drive side end cover.
When the brake motor is powered on, the brake is activated at the same time. Due to the electromagnetic attraction, the electromagnet attracts the armature and the compression spring, the brake disc is separated from the armature and the end cover, and the motor starts to work. When the power is cut off, the brake electromagnet loses the electromagnetic attraction, the spring pushes the armature to press against the brake disc, and under the action of the friction torque, the motor stops working immediately.
